{"id":1707,"date":"2020-11-24T20:43:04","date_gmt":"2020-11-24T17:43:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rigas-dzirnavnieks.lv\/grain-programmes\/"},"modified":"2020-11-24T20:43:04","modified_gmt":"2020-11-24T17:43:04","slug":"grain-programmes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/rigas-dzirnavnieks.lv\/en\/grain-programmes\/","title":{"rendered":"Grain programmes"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<h1><strong>Rye program<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>The main requirements for successful participation in the &#8220;Rye growing programme&#8221;:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Varieties, such as KWS Eterno, KWS Serafino, Kaupo, and others, which have been approved by the procurement specialists of JSC \u00abR\u012bgas dzirnavnieks\u00bb;<\/li>\n<li>The use of glyphosate-containing products before and during the harvest is prohibited;<\/li>\n<li>Use growth regulators only under strict supervision of JSC \u00abR\u012bgas dzirnavnieks\u00bb procurement specialists;<\/li>\n<li>Fertilization plan has been previously agreed with the procurement specialists of JSC \u00abR\u012bgas dzirnavnieks\u00bb;<\/li>\n<li>Prevent the development and spread of diseases;<\/li>\n<li>Sown field area- up to 100 ha.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantages of participating in the program:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Long- term cooperation;<\/li>\n<li>It is possible to organize transport services during the harvest;<\/li>\n<li>Competitive prices in exchange for stability;<\/li>\n<li>Certified seed material;<\/li>\n<li>Possibility to pay for seed material in 2020 after grain delivery to JSC \u201cR\u012bgas dzirnavnieks\u201d;<\/li>\n<li>Specialist consultations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seed material:<\/strong> KWS Eterno and KWS Serafino are hybrid rye varieties with high yields, disease resistance, a short (up to 1m) stem that reduces the risk of veld and allows growth regulators no to be used or used only once. KWS Eterno:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100% hybrid seeds, without impurities;<\/li>\n<li>High productivity;<\/li>\n<li>Very good resistance to diseases, especially brown rust;<\/li>\n<li>The variety has very good winter hardiness;<\/li>\n<li>Sowing rate ~80kg\/ha;<\/li>\n<li>Prepacking- in the bags of 500kg;<\/li>\n<li>About 6-8 ha can be sown with one bag (500kg);<\/li>\n<li>Price 590,-* EUR\/bag (500kg).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KWS Serafino:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High yield potential even in bad conditions;<\/li>\n<li>High drought resistance;<\/li>\n<li>PollenPlus\u00ae technology protects against major rye diseases;<\/li>\n<li>Sowing rate ~80kg\/ha;<\/li>\n<li>Prepacking \u2013 in the bags of 500 kg;<\/li>\n<li>About 6-8 ha can be sown with one bag (500 kg);<\/li>\n<li>Price 642,- * EUR\/bag (500kg).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h1><strong>Oat program<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>The main requirements for successful participation in the &#8220;Oat growing programme&#8221;:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not use plant growth regulators containing chlormequat and mepiquat.<\/li>\n<li>Limited use of chemicals;<\/li>\n<li>We are supporters of the principle of &#8220;green&#8221; management, therefore open waters near the fields where chemicals can enter are not desirable in the vicinity of the field (the preferred location of the water is at least 10-15 m from the field).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cooperation offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum field size +\/- 20 ha (preferably one field);<\/li>\n<li>Maximum field area +\/- 50 ha;<\/li>\n<li>The field should be provided with autumn plowing, depth 20 cm;<\/li>\n<li>Plant rotation must be observed, oats and corn must not have grown in the previous year (the rotation of plants of previous years of holding must be indicated);<\/li>\n<li>Oat variety \u201c_______\u201d. The seeds must be disinfected. Seed consumption ~180 &#8211; 200 kg\/ha.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Equipment support:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Early sowing is possible (end of March);<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, timely spraying against diseases, pests;<\/li>\n<li>Timely oat harvesting must be ensured (lack of equipment must not be an obstacle to oat harvesting), oat vegetation period 95-100 days;<\/li>\n<li>Harvested oats are transported directly from the field to JCS &#8220;R\u012bgas dzirnavnieks&#8221; (we can coordinate the logistics issue on our part).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Recommended spraying:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1x herbicide (glyphosate must not be used before harvest);<\/li>\n<li>1x fungicide;<\/li>\n<li>N \u2013 not more than 75 &#8211;
