JSC “Rīgas dzirnavnieks” is currently one of the largest grain processing companies in the Baltic states, which produces and exports high quality industrial and consumer products- all types of wheat, rye and oat flour, flour mixtures, cereal flakes and other products under the well-known brand Herkuless.
1945
The origins of our company can be tracked back to 1945, when the cereal processing company “Sarkanais Oktobris” was founded.
1954
Company starts to produce products under the brand Herkuless.
1964
The first wheat mills are built. The company begins to grind grains, becoming widely known as a flour producer.
1999
Company starts to produce flour under the brand Hercogs.
2019
Company invests 5 mill. eur in building a new packaging factory.
